Waarom Hotels om te wandelen, en waarom hier
Hotels for hiking in abang are best chosen for easy access to walking routes, an early start, and a calm base to return to after a day on foot. In this part of Bali, the most suitable stays are not necessarily the most luxurious, but the ones that make it simple to get out and explore without wasting time on transfers. That usually means practical locations, straightforward service, and enough comfort to recover properly between hikes.
This kind of hotel suits active travellers who want to spend more time outdoors than indoors, as well as couples, solo walkers, and small groups planning dawn starts or longer day walks. A good hiking base in abang should also feel relaxed and uncomplicated, with reliable guest ratings and rooms that support an early night and an early departure. Properties such as Bali Marina Villas, Shankara Parada Villas, Casa de Amed, and The Kampung offer a range of standards, from higher-end villas to simpler guesthouses, so there is something for different budgets and trip styles.
abang has a laid-back coastal feel, which works well for travellers who want a quieter stay rather than a busy resort atmosphere. The best options for hiking are those that balance comfort with convenience, whether that is a small guest house, a mid-range hotel, or a villa with stronger facilities. For walkers, the right choice is the one that keeps the focus on the trail, not on logistics.
