7 beste Hotels met een keuken in Hersonissos

Hotels with a kitchen in Hersonissos are ideal for travellers who want the freedom to eat in as well as dine out. This busy Cretan resort is built around the coastal harbour area and the surrounding modern hotel strip, making it easy to mix self-catering with beach days and excursions. For culture and calmer evenings, consider staying on the hills above the main promenade in areas linked with Old Hersonissos—particularly Ano Hersonissos, Piskopiano and Koutouloufari—where you’ll find traditional lanes and tavernas.

A genuinely “kitchen” stay means more than a kitchenette for tea: look for proper cooking space (oven or hob), adequate cookware, and a layout that suits longer visits—especially for families, guests with dietary requirements, and anyone planning to shop at local markets. It’s also a smart choice for active holidaymakers who want simple breakfast routines before heading to nearby attractions such as Lychnostatis Open Air Museum or Aquaworld Aquarium & Reptile Rescue Centre.

In Hersonissos, the best base depends on your pace: choose the beachfront and promenade side for easy dining and nightlife, or the inland village feel for a quieter rhythm—then match it with a hotel like Aldemar Knossos Villas, Balsamico Traditional Suites, or Pyrgos Blue for kitchen-friendly comfort across a range of star levels.
