8 beste Hotels bij pretparken in Esher

Hotels near theme parks in Esher are a smart choice for families and group travellers who want to base themselves in calm Surrey while still reaching major attractions quickly. Esher itself sits between the riverside pleasures of Thames Ditton and the historic green spaces around Claremont Landscape Garden on Portsmouth Road. It’s also well placed for theme-park days such as Chessington World of Adventures, which is reachable from Esher in roughly an hour by public transport and around 10 minutes by taxi, making it the kind of trip that fits easily into a short break itinerary.

For a genuinely “theme parks” hotel stay, you’re looking for easy departure logistics (parking or good local transport links), family-friendly room layouts, and the ability to start early—especially if you want to arrive before peak times. That makes these Esher and nearby Kingston/Kew options particularly suitable for: families with children, couples planning a themed day plus relaxed evenings, and groups who want a comfortable base without staying inside a theme-park bubble.

Where to stay depends on your priorities: choose an Esher property for a more local, low-key base (for example, Foley Hotel or The Bear Esher), or opt slightly wider for larger 4★ standards near transport (such as Crowne Plaza London - Kingston). For value-leaning stays with a practical location for quick theme-park connections, Sandown Park Lodge is another strong fit.
