7 beste Hotels met een prachtig uitzicht in Athens

Hotels with amazing views in Athens are not just places with a high floor and a window. To truly earn the label, a hotel needs a clear outlook that adds something to the stay: a sense of the city’s scale, its hillside setting, or a memorable vantage point over the rooftops and skyline. In Athens, that can mean a room, terrace or rooftop that turns the view into part of the experience, rather than a background detail.

This kind of hotel suits travellers who want more from their base than convenience alone. It works well for couples, first-time visitors, and anyone planning a short city break where the hotel itself matters as much as the sightseeing. It also suits guests who like to unwind with a drink or breakfast while taking in the city from above. Properties such as Electra Metropolis Athens, King George, Acro Urban Suites Athens and Athens Ikon Hotel show how a strong view can sit alongside comfort and a central location.

Athens is a city of contrasts, with dense urban energy, historic layers and wide-open outlooks from higher ground. The best-view hotels make the most of that setting, whether they are polished five-star addresses or smaller boutique stays with a more personal feel. Among the options here, you will find high guest scores across different star levels, from Moon and Stars and Athens BlueBuilding to NLH FIX - Neighborhood Lifestyle Hotels and O and B Athens Boutique Hotel. The common thread is simple: a view that feels worth booking for, not just nice to have.
