Waarom Hotels met een prachtig uitzicht, en waarom hier
Hotels with amazing views in Avignon are not simply places with a window and a decent outlook. The best ones make the view part of the stay, whether that means looking over the city’s historic roofs, enjoying a river setting, or having a terrace, balcony or elevated position that adds something memorable to the room. In a compact, atmospheric city such as Avignon, the right hotel can turn an ordinary overnight stop into a far more distinctive experience.
This kind of stay suits travellers who want more than a practical base. Couples often look for a room with a sense of occasion, while solo travellers and friends may value a calm, scenic place to return to after sightseeing. It also works well for short breaks, when the hotel itself matters as much as the itinerary. Among the bookable options, La Mirande brings five-star character, while Le Limas and La Maison de l’Olivier are strong choices for guests who want high ratings and a more intimate feel. Bateau Hotel A quai Le Chardonnay offers something different again, with its waterside setting adding to the appeal. More central, practical stays such as Avignon Grand Hotel, Hotel de l Horloge, Hotel du Forum and Cube Hotel can still suit view-seekers if location and outlook are priorities.
In Avignon, the best view-focused hotels balance comfort, setting and a genuine sense of place, rather than relying on marketing alone.

Wat je moet weten over Hotels met een prachtig uitzicht in Avignon
What makes a hotel with amazing views in Avignon?
A genuine view hotel offers more than a standard outlook: look for rooms or common areas with clear city, river or elevated views, plus a setting that feels part of the experience. High guest ratings can also be a useful sign that the view and the stay deliver together.
Which area is best to stay in for views?
In general, central and riverside locations are the most likely to provide appealing outlooks in Avignon. A hotel’s position and floor level matter as much as the wider area.
What price level should I expect?
Prices vary by star rating and season, with 2-star and 3-star options usually more modest and 4-star to 5-star hotels generally higher. View-led stays can command a premium, especially when the outlook is a key part of the room.
