Over Andros
Andros is a large island in the northern Cyclades rather than a city. Its main settlement is Chora, also called Andros Town, while most travellers arrive by ferry at Gavrio from Rafina, near Athens. You come here for a mix of beaches, villages, museums, monasteries, food and certified walking routes, with a quieter feel than the better-known Cycladic islands.
