8 najlepszych — Hotele na wsi — Assisi

Countryside hotels in Assisi are best understood as stays that pair the town’s peaceful, rural surroundings with a quieter, more spacious way to visit this part of Umbria. In practice, that usually means agriturismi, country houses and small rural retreats set beyond the busiest historic core, with views, outdoor space and a slower pace rather than city-centre convenience. These are the places to choose if you want fresh air, a more relaxed base and easy access to the surrounding landscape, while still being close enough to enjoy Assisi itself.

This kind of stay suits couples, solo travellers and families who value calm over constant activity, and who are happy to use a car or plan ahead for getting around. It also works well for anyone looking for a more local-feeling break, with properties such as Agriturismo Sotto il Colle, Agriturismo La Castellana, Agriturismo Paradiso41, Country House Pro Vobis and Il Casale della Quercia offering the sort of countryside setting that defines the category. Guest ratings are consistently strong, which suggests these are not just scenic places to sleep, but reliable bases too.

Assisi’s wider appeal lies in its gentle pace, hill-town atmosphere and green setting, so countryside hotels here tend to complement the destination rather than compete with it. Expect a generally modest-to-mid-range level, with some higher-rated options and a few simpler stays that still deliver excellent guest feedback.
