Ski hotels in Roana put you on the Asiago Plateau snow line, with direct access to the Monte Verena ski area and its lift network around Verenetta/Mezzaselva di Roana. The local base area is centred on Mezzaselva di Roana (Verenetta), where skiers can start their day close to the slopes at Rifugio Verenetta (skiverena.com, asiago.it). This is an ideal setup for people who want “park the car, gear up, ski” convenience, rather than long transfers.

Roana is also a strong choice for families and mixed-level groups because the Verena slopes are set up for different abilities, with a dedicated beginner area in the same valley zone near Mezzaselva di Roana. For travellers prioritising comfort between runs, Canove di Roana is another convenient neighbourhood—close to the natural, village-in-mountain setting of Hotel Vecchia Stazione Mountain Elegance.

Where to stay depends on your rhythm: choose a slope-adjacent mountain lodge if you like early starts and a “sumptuous ski-day” atmosphere (for example Rifugio Verenetta), or opt for a residence-style hotel for flexibility and self-catering convenience (Residence-Hotel Cimbro in Mezzaselva di Roana). If you’re looking for a classic hotel base with meals and services, Locanda Stella and Hotel Vecchia Stazione Mountain Elegance suit couples and friends who want comfort after skiing.
