8 najlepszych — Hotele z willami — Roumeli

Hotels with villas in Roumeli offer a notably local Cretan stay: you’re based in the Mylopotamos region of Rethymno, where the village of Roumeli sits in a countryside setting around the Geropotamos area and has easy access to both inland life and the north coast. It’s also well placed for exploring nearby settlements such as Skepasti and for enjoying the quiet rhythms of the traditional hinterland.

“Villas” here means more than a private room—think self-contained properties with dedicated outdoor space (often a private pool), privacy for couples or families, and room to spread out for slow breakfasts and evenings at home. That makes these stays especially suitable for groups who value independence—those travelling with children, multigenerational families, or friends wanting shared facilities without the compromises of hotel corridors.

For where to stay, Roumeli itself suits visitors who want a peaceful village base while staying within a short local journey of beaches and everyday amenities. For more of a country-retreat feel, the Skepasti area is a strong option, pairing traditional surroundings with practical access to the wider Rethymno routes. You’ll find villa options across the selection, including “Stefania Villa Dio” for a private-pool setup, and “Stunning 2-bed Pool Villa in Skepasti” for a focused, destination-style stay.
