It works best when you treat it as a practical island base: you can stay close to beaches and resorts, then use taxis, buses, hotel transfers or a driver for Djerba Explore, Djerba Golf Club, Erriadh, Guellala and Houmt Souk. Djerba is also a UNESCO-listed cultural surroundings, so the interest isn’t only on the coast; it’s spread through villages, old routes, religious places, craft traditions and low-density settlement patterns.
