Hotels with a pool in Sitia suit travellers who want a stay that feels relaxed, practical and easy to enjoy in warm weather. In this part of eastern Crete, a genuine pool hotel is not just somewhere that happens to have water on site: it is a property where the pool is a real part of the stay, whether for a proper swim, a quiet dip after sightseeing, or a family-friendly base with space to unwind. The best options also offer a setting that works for different kinds of trips, from short breaks to longer stays.

Sitia’s pool hotels cover a useful range of styles. Sitia Beach City Resort and Spa stands out for a more resort-led experience, while Sitia Bay and Nuez Villas offer a balance of comfort and flexibility. For guests who prefer a villa-style stay, Vista mare villas, Kastri Hill Luxury Villas, Ammothines Villas and Mohlos Villas all give a more private feel, with strong review scores that suggest dependable quality. Cressa Ghitonia adds another option for travellers looking for a smaller-scale base.

This type of hotel suits couples, families and independent travellers who want to combine the ease of a pool with access to Sitia’s laid-back atmosphere. It also works well for visitors who value downtime as much as exploring, and who prefer accommodation that feels restful rather than overly formal. In Sitia, a good pool hotel is one that makes it easy to slow down.
