Luxury hotels in Capri are about more than a high star rating. The best properties combine a strong sense of place with polished service, privacy, comfort and views that make the island feel special from the moment you arrive. On a destination as compact and characterful as Capri, a true luxury stay usually means well-kept rooms, attentive hospitality, calm surroundings and easy access to the island’s main sights, while still feeling tucked away from the busiest moments of the day.

This list includes a mix of 5-star and highly rated 4-star options, from Luxury Villa Excelsior Parco and Villa Marina Capri to Hotel Casa Morgano, Hotel La Scalinatella and Hotel La Palma. It also includes smaller stays such as Il Portico B&B Capri, which shows that luxury on Capri is not only about formal labels but also about exceptional guest satisfaction. Properties with very high review scores, such as Luxury Villa Excelsior Parco and Il Portico B&B Capri, suggest the kind of consistent quality travellers expect when booking at the top end.

These hotels suit couples, honeymooners, relaxed luxury travellers and anyone who wants a refined base for exploring the island without sacrificing comfort. Whether you prefer a classic hotel atmosphere or a more intimate stay, Capri’s luxury options are best for travellers who value service, style and a memorable setting over sheer size.
