Hotels with a pool in Saumur are a strong choice for travellers who want a stay that feels relaxed without giving up easy access to the town’s compact, historic centre. A genuine pool hotel here is not just somewhere with a token splash pool; it is a property where the swimming facilities add real value to the stay, whether that means a place to unwind after sightseeing, a family-friendly base, or a more restful setting for a short break or longer escape.

In Saumur, that often means a mix of characterful hotels and smaller guesthouses, with options ranging from 1★ to 4★ in this list. Hotel Anne dAnjou, Château La Marquise and Le Patio Saumur & Spa bring a more polished feel, while places such as La Seignère, Le Petit Hureau, Aux Marquises, La gentilhommiere de Saumur and Domaine de l'Oie Rouge offer a more intimate atmosphere. Guest scores are consistently high, which suggests these stays are valued for comfort as well as their pool facilities.

This type of hotel suits couples looking for a quieter break, families who want downtime built into the trip, and anyone visiting Saumur for its easy-going pace and river-town setting. The best pool hotels combine practical comfort with a sense of place, making it simple to enjoy both the town and time spent by the water.
