Neden burada kalmalı — SkyJump Las Vegas
SkyJump Las Vegas is a controlled decelerator descent from the 108th floor of The STRAT Hotel, Casino & Tower, dropping you down the side of the tower from roughly 829 feet above the Strip. You’re clipped into a full‑body harness attached to a mechanical descender that manages speed and braking, so it’s fast but tightly controlled. People come for one specific reason: it holds the Guinness World Record as the highest commercial decelerator descent in the world. It’s not a bungee jump and not a free fall — it’s a measured, vertical ride built into Las Vegas’s tallest tower.
Hakkında — SkyJump Las Vegas
SkyJump Las Vegas opened on April 20, 2010, as part of The STRAT’s effort to turn its observation tower into a full thrill‑ride destination rather than just a viewpoint. The system was developed with JumpTechnics Ltd. and engineered directly into the existing tower structure, allowing riders to step off from the 108th floor and descend along the exterior of the building.
On opening day, Las Vegas officially designated “SkyJump Day,” signalling that the attraction was meant to be a permanent part of the city’s tourism surroundings, not a temporary stunt. Since launch, it has remained the only attraction of its kind in North America.
The experience is tightly integrated with The STRAT itself: you check in at ground level, ride to the SkyPod, get a safety briefing, suit up, and step onto an outdoor launch platform. The descent reaches speeds of around 40 mph before a controlled landing at the base. Admission includes access to The STRAT’s indoor and outdoor observation decks.
