Warum Hotels mit kostenlosem Parkplatz, warum hier
Hotels with free parking in Lucca are ideal for travellers who want the freedom to arrive by car, then explore on foot or by bicycle. The key is location: look for accommodation just outside the historic walls and near main access points, so you can park easily and still reach Lucca’s city centre gateways such as Porta San Pietro and the city wall promenade, known locally as *Le Mura*. For must-see sights, the Torre Guinigi (with its rooftop holm oaks) is a convenient landmark to plan around when staying within easy reach of the centre.
A genuinely “free parking” hotel in Lucca should offer on-site or privately arranged parking for guests (not just vague street availability), with clear conditions on arrival and departure. This suits couples, families, and older travellers who prefer short transfer times over daily parking hunts, as well as anyone arriving by car from the coast or inland Tuscany.
If you’re choosing where to stay, prioritise areas around the southern approach near the walls (good for Porta San Pietro and rail links) and the nearby quiet villa belt, where you’ll still reach the centre by a pleasant walk. Examples from our inventory include Lucca in Villa Lucrezia (free parking included) and Villa La Dogana for a convenient, comfort-led stay close to the action.
