Die 6 besten Golfhotels in Andermatt

Golf hotels in Andermatt are best understood as places that make a golf break easy, comfortable and well organised, rather than simply hotels with a view of the mountains. In practice, that means a base with reliable standards, space to store kit, a calm setting for early starts, and enough comfort to suit a stay built around time on the course as much as time off it. The strongest options also work for travellers who want more than golf alone, with good dining, a polished service level and the sort of quiet, alpine atmosphere that suits both focused players and relaxed companions.

Andermatt is a natural fit for this type of stay. It has a compact mountain-town feel, with a choice of hotels ranging from simple, good-value stays to high-end properties. That makes it suitable for a wide range of golfers: couples planning a short sporting break, friends travelling for a weekend on the fairways, and anyone who wants a scenic base with easy access to the wider region. The best-known luxury names, such as The Chedi Andermatt and The Base, sit alongside well-rated three-star and four-star options including Radisson Blu Hotel Reussen, Andermatt, Sonne Andermatt Swiss Quality Hotel, Alpenhotel Schlüssel, The River House Boutique Hotel and Hotel Badus. Gasthaus Zum Sternen offers a more basic stay for guests who prioritise practicality over extras.

For a true golf-hotel stay here, look for comfort, convenience and a location that supports an active itinerary, with enough quality to make the hotel part of the trip rather than just somewhere to sleep.
