Die 6 besten Berghotels in Davos

Mountain hotels in Davos are best defined by their setting, outlook and easy access to the Alps rather than by a single style. In practice, that means stays with a clear sense of altitude and mountain character, whether they are traditional hotels, contemporary aparthotels or smaller guesthouses. Davos suits travellers who want fresh air, outdoor time and a base that feels close to hiking, skiing and scenic winter or summer landscapes, while still offering the convenience of a proper resort town.

This list brings together properties that fit that brief in different ways. Some are full-service hotels, such as Waldhotel Davos and Rixos Flüela Davos, while others offer a more independent stay, including Face Aparthotel and At Rinaldi 22. There are also smaller, more intimate options such as Schraemli's Lengmatta and B&B Haus im Sand, alongside well-rated choices like Hotel Alpenhof Davos and Boutique Hotel Bellevue Wiesen. Together, they cover a useful spread of budgets and comfort levels, from simpler stays to higher-end hotels.

What unites them is their appeal to guests who want the mountains to be part of the experience, not just the backdrop. These are the places that work for skiers, walkers, couples, families and anyone seeking a quieter alpine break with strong guest ratings and a practical base in Davos.
